In order to facilitate a smooth transaction and limit any delays and/or amendment costs, please include the following when opening your letter of credit:

1) Please issue the Letter of Credit in favor of :

2) The Letter of Credit (L/C) must be irrevocable.

Bank of America was chosen for their expertise in International Banking and for their large network of corresponding banks The bank you work with should have no problem establishing a Letter of Credit with this bank. If you prefer to work through a corresponding bank in your area, please contact us and we will provide you with the name and address.

4) Draft(s) under the L/C must be payable 100% at sight. 

5) The required documents may include:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Bill of Lading consigned to issuing bank, individual or agent.

6) Shipping terms must be:

  • FOB/or F.A.S. named Point of Shipment

7) The L/C must allow a minimum of 21 days after issuance of the transport documents for presentation of documents at the counters of the negotiating bank.

8) Special Conditions:

  • Partial Shipments are permitted
  • This L/C is transferable

9) Banking Charges :

All Charges except for Bank of America charges are for account of buyer/applicant.
